The comprehensive conservation project for the Yuanjue Cave cliff carvings at Baoding Mountain of Dazu Rock Carvings has been designated as a key cultural heritage protection project by the National Cultural Heritage Administration Approval Document No. 1067 (wenbao han) issued in 2022. Preliminary investigation and research are currently underway. To ensure the safety of the cultural relics and visitors while facilitating the progress of this project, Yuanjue Cave will be temporarily closed during the following period: March 14, 2025 – April 11, 2025.
