Call for Papers—2025 International Youth Forum on Bashu Grottoes
在全球化与多元文化交融的时代背景下，石窟寺作为人类文明的瑰宝，承载着深厚的历史文化底蕴，其研究对于推动跨文化交流与学术发展意义重大。为深度促进石窟寺研究的国际化进程，搭建一个开放、多元的国际青年学者交流平台，巴蜀石窟国际青年论坛应运而生。
本次论坛倡导多学科交叉融合，欢迎来自考古学、艺术学、历史学、宗教学等不同领域的青年才俊，聚焦石窟寺研究的前沿议题，通过思想的碰撞与智慧的交融，重新审视石窟寺文化，让其跨越地域与文化的界限，在全球范围内焕发出新的生机与活力，成为连接不同文化的纽带与桥梁。
现巴蜀石窟国际青年论坛面向全球青年学者公开征集优秀学术论文，热忱欢迎广大青年学者踊跃参与，分享研究成果。

二、征稿对象
全球高校、科研院所从事石窟研究的青年学者，在读博士研究生等。
三、征稿范围及要求
（一）研究方向
结合论坛主题展开。
（二）论文要求
原创性：论文必须为原创作品，未在任何公开出版物或学术会议上发表过。
学术规范：符合学术论文写作规范，内容完整，逻辑清晰，论据充分，论证严谨。需包含摘要（不超过300字）、关键词（3-5个）、正文、注释（采用页下注）等部分。
格式要求：采用word文档格式，字体为宋体，标题三号加粗，正文小四号，行距1.5倍。文中图表需清晰，标注准确。
篇幅限制：论文字数原则上控制在8000-20000字。
语言文字：中文/英文。
四、投稿方式
请将论文以附件形式发送至指定邮箱：mdf2016@yeah.net，邮件主题统一命名为“论坛投稿-姓名-论文题目 ”。在论文末尾注明作者姓名、性别、出生年月、所在院校或单位、联系方式（电话、邮箱）。
五、截稿日期
有意愿参加本次会议的学者请先发来回执（表格见附件1），2025年6月30日前发来全文。
六、论文评审
论坛将组织同行专家对投稿论文进行匿名评审，评选出优秀论文若干篇。入选论文作者将受邀参加巴蜀石窟国际青年论坛，并在论坛上进行报告。同时，优秀论文将在《大足石刻研究》学术期刊发表，并获得相应稿酬。

2025年巴蜀石窟国际青年论坛组委会
In an era characterized by globalization and multicultural integration, cave temples, as treasures of human civilization, carry profound historical and cultural connotations. Their research is of great significance for promoting cross-cultural exchanges and academic development. To further advance the internationalization of cave temple research and establish an open, multidisciplinary platform for young scholars worldwide, the International Youth Forum on Bashu Grottoes is launched.
This forum encourages interdisciplinary integration, welcoming young scholars from archaeology, art history, religious studies, history and related fields to explore cutting-edge topics in cave temple research. Through intellectual exchange, we aim to reinterpret the culture of cave temples, transcend geographical and cultural boundaries, and revitalize its global relevance as a bridge connecting different cultures.
We are now calling for excellent academic papers from young scholars worldwide. We warmly welcome young scholars to actively participate and share their research achievements.

Young scholars engaged in cave temple research from universities and research institutions around the world, including doctoral and master’s students.
III. Submission Scope and Requirements
1. Research Directions
Developed in line with the forum themes.
2. Paper Requirements
Originality: The paper must be an original work and not previously published in any public publication or academic conference.
Academic Standards: The paper should meet academic writing standards, with complete content, clear logic, sufficient evidence, and rigorous argumentation. The paper should include an abstract (≤300 words), keywords (3-5words), main text, and footnotes.
Format Requirements: The paper should be submitted in Word document format, Chinese submissions in font of Song Ti (Title: Bold, Size 16; Body: Size 12; 1.5 line spacing) or English submissions in Times New Roman (Title: Bold, Size 14; Body: Size 12; double-spaced). Figures and tables should be clear and accurately labeled.
Length Limit: The word count of the paper should generally be controlled within 8,000-20,000 words.
Language: Chinese/English.
IV. Submission Method
Please submit your paper as an email attachment to mdf2016@yeah.net, with the subject line formatted as “Forum Submission-Author Name-Paper Title”. At the end of the paper, please indicate the author’s name, gender, date of birth, affiliated institution and contact information (phone number and email address).
V. Deadline for Submission
Scholars who are willing to participate in this conference should first send back the form (see Annex for the Registration Form), and send the full text by June 30, 2025.
VI. Paper Review
The forum will organize a panel of peer experts to conduct anonymous reviews of submitted papers. Authors of selected papers will be invited to participate in the 2025 International Youth Forum on Bashu Grottoes and present their work at the forum. Additionally, excellent papers will be published in the academic journal Studies in Dazu Rock Carvings and receive corresponding remuneration.
